With their needle sharp teeth and tendency to go at each other’s throats, we now call them the vampirates.  They are growing really fast and their play is becoming rougher.  However, they are still pretty good about being handled.  They’d prefer to be off doing something, but don’t fight much when you hold them.  Treat is actually doing much better than Trick.

This morning I worked again on conditioning them to wear their harnesses.  I put on the harnesses before giving them breakfast, then left them on while they played with the new favorite, the mouse racetrack.  I want them to be able to walk on leash with harnesses when the get older so they need to become accustomed to them now.

We are having the great declawing debate.  Too much information on both sides!  I honestly don’t know what the right thing to do is….
